The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process of the central teacher eligibility test (CTET) today, September 20.

This exam determines a candidate’s eligibility for appointment as a teacher for grades 1 through 8. This year. the exam will take place between December 16 and January 13 on a computer.
The deadline for submitting applications for the CTET is October 19.
CTET 2021
The CBSE CTET 2021 would consist of two tests: test 1 will be for those who intend to be a teacher for grades 1 to 5 and test 2 will be for those who intend to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8. A person who intends to be a teacher of both levels will have to sit for both tests.
The validity of the CBSE CTET 2021 certificate is for life.
Article 1 would include questions on child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics, and environmental studies.
Handout 2 will include questions on child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, math and science or social studies or social science.
The items of the child development and pedagogy test will focus on the educational psychology of teaching and learning for the 6-11 age group for test 1 and relevant for the 11 to 14 age group for paper 2. They will focus on comprehension. the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, the interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good learning facilitator.
Language 1 of test 1 will focus on skills related to instructional support and language 2 will focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension skills. The elements of the test in mathematics, environmental studies, social studies and social sciences will focus on concepts, problem-solving skills and the understanding and educational applications of subjects. In all these subjects, the elements of the test will be distributed evenly among the different divisions of the program of that subject prescribed for classes 1 to 8 by the NCERT.
