The details of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G camera were officially confirmed a few days before its launch in India.
The new OnePlus phone will come with a 64-megapixel main camera sensor on the back, as per a chip released by a Chinese company.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be the new model in the company’s Nord series launched last year with the launch of the original OnePlus Nord.
The smartphone is rumored to have a hole-punch design and comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC.
In a post published on the OnePlus Nord Instagram account, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will come with a triple camera setup that will feature a 64-megapixel main sensor.
This is an improvement over the original OnePlus Nord which started with a 48-megapixel core sensor.
However, that model includes four camera sensors in addition to the three available on an incoming call.
This teaser confirms a previous report that raised three rear cameras on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
OnePlus also sent some camera samples allegedly taken with the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
Samples suggest improved color reproduction on the new smartphone.
Earlier this week, OnePlus joked that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G would come with 7.9mm thickness despite wearing a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Details for OnePlus Nord CE 5G (pending)
In addition to its recent consumer-specific details, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G has been part of the rumor mill for the past few days, providing captions to its possible specifications.
The smartphone is expected to have a 6.43-inch full-HD + AMOLED display at 90Hz refresh rate and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC.
It was also recommended to have up to 8GB of RAM and a maximum of 128GB of storage space.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will come with a wide-angle 8-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The phone may have a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
OnePlus is expected to provide 4,500mAh battery on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The phone may have support for fast charging of Warp Charge 30T.
The launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India is set for Thursday (June 10) and has already been posted on Amazon.
The smartphone will come along with the launch of a new version of the OnePlus TV U series.
