WhatsApp appears to have extended its privacy policy adoption date in selected regions until June 19, 2021. Facebook’s messaging service offered May 15 as the last day to receive the updated privacy policy but did not take action against non-compliant individuals.
Although WhatsApp has said it will not block accounts that do not accept the new policy, it seems that at least in some regions, it has already set a new deadline. Users can still ignore pop-up but will have to accept the terms in order to be able to use WhatsApp in full functionality later in the day.
