Battlegrounds Mobile India has released five million downloads in its Early Access category, available to everyone in the country.
Krafton, a South Korean engineer, shared the progress with the in-game announcement and the award for thanking Indian players.
The game was available for download in beta open to a few testers on June 17 and is open to everyone on June 18, and has already exceeded five million downloads.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is an Indian version of PUBG Mobile which was banned in the country in September last year.
Krafton has given every Battlegrounds Mobile India player a Classic Crate Coupon thanking them for the download of five million downloads.
The in-game events screen shows the ‘5M Downloads Gift’ announcement, “Thank you India! To celebrate 5M downloads, we send our thanks for this extra offer! Please enjoy! ”The award rewards players with a free coupon that they can use to open a regular case and earn a random reward.
It’s only been two days since the game was available for download and the first day was for beta testers only.
Krafton opened a beta test for a limited number of users on June 17 and the full sites were filled almost immediately.

Players joining during Early Access receive one Supply Crate Coupon, two EXP Cards, and 2x BP Card.
It is no surprise to see so many players jumping in as Battlegrounds Mobile India has been eagerly awaited for almost nine months now.
The game is an Indian version of PUBG Mobile which was banned in the country in September last year.
Earlier last month, Battlegrounds Mobile India increased pre-registration in the Google Play store and, in the first week of this month, had exceeded 20 million pre-registrations.
The 5 million download icon looks like the first landmark of the most popular game yet to come on iOS devices.
