Ashraf Ahmed Shot Dead: Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were murdered in police security at 10 pm on Saturday night. A large number of media persons were present during this. Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were brought to the hospital in Prayagraj for medical examination. The media persons were questioning both of them when the attackers opened fire. The attackers shot Atiq Ahmed in the head. According to the police, the attackers came posing as media persons.
Ateeq Ahmed was asked if he could not go to the funeral of his son Asad, then he said, “If you didn’t take it, you didn’t go.” Then he was shot by the assailants and died on the spot.
In fact, Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed and his friend Ghulam were killed by the UP STF in an encounter on Thursday (April 13). After this, both were buried in Kasari Masari cemetery in Prayagraj amidst tight security arrangements. Atiq Ahmed had applied for attending the son’s funeral, but the hearing could not be held on it.
The process of burying the dead body at Kasari Masari cemetery took about an hour. During this, no close member of Atiq Ahmed and his family was seen.
Section 144 is applicable in UP
after the murder of Atiq Ahmed, there is a situation of tension. In view of this, Section 144 has been imposed in the entire Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting in Lucknow. This high level meeting lasted for about three hours. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to maintain peace and not pay heed to rumours. He said that strict action will be taken against those spreading rumours.
