UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a judicial inquiry after the murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed. After the murder, Yogi Adityanath called a high-level meeting of state police officers. After the meeting, the CM has also given instructions for the formation of a three-member Judicial Commission (Judicial Inquiry Commission).
After this incident, the security of CM’s residence has also been increased. At the same time, after the order of the CM, the Home Secretary and DGP of UP are reaching Prayagraj. Both will go to Prayagraj by special aircraft. Chief Minister Adityanath had summoned the DGP and ADG (Law and Order) after the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. After the murder, the STF of the UP Police has reached the spot.
According to India Today’s report, 17 policemen posted under the security of Atiq Ahmed have also been suspended. High alert has been declared in the entire state. And Section-144 has been implemented in all the districts. Police has been ordered to increase security in sensitive areas.
