Anushka Sharma expresses gratitude to the paparazzi for not posting photos of daughter Vamika

New Delhi: Celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first child earlier this year. The actress gave birth to a baby girl on January 11, 2021. Virushka named their daughter Vamika and soon after her birth, the couple asked the media not to take or post pictures of their baby munchkin.

Recently, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, and their daughter Vamika were spotted leaving for South Africa where Virat asked reporters in attendance not to click on their daughter’s photos.

Today, earlier today, Anushka Sharma wrote a note of gratitude to the paparazzi and fan pages for not posting Vamika’s photos.

Anushka Sharma’s note read, “We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward.”

She added, “We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter. Special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary on December 11. The actress wrote a note for her husband on his Instagram and wrote: “There is no easy solution, there is no shortcut home. Your favorite song and the words you used to have always lived. These words are true for everything, including relationships. It takes tremendous courage to be the person you are in a world filled with perceptions and perspectives. Thank you for inspiring me when I needed it and to keep your mind open when you needed to listen. Marriage of equals is only possible when the two are secure. And you are the most secure man I know! Like I said earlier, lucky are those who know the real you, the soul behind all the achievements, the man behind all the projections thrown at you. My love, honesty, transparency, and respect always guide us. PS: May we never stop having fun I like that about us.
