UP Scholarship: SC, ST, OBC and poor needy students of minority and general category studying in classes and courses above class 10th are getting another opportunity to apply for scholarship and fee reimbursement.

In view of the demand of re-opening of the scholarship portal by the institutions and students, the scholarship portal has been opened by the Social Welfare Department by issuing revised time table.

According to the released timetable, the application date has been extended again to December 26, providing the last opportunity to the students to apply online.

After forwarding, the NIC will scrutinize the pure and suspicious data and make it available on the login of the District Social Welfare Officer.

Suspicious data will also be displayed on the login of the students along with the reason, on the basis of which the errors can be rectified by the students from 19 to 27 January 2023 and the hardcopy can be submitted to the institute for re-verification.

This time the date has also been extended for master data updation at the level of institutions. According to which the recognized educational institutions located in the state will be able to update the course, its type, total seats, fees fixed by the competent level, etc. in the master data by December 19. So that the studying students can apply by selecting the institute and course included in the master data.

Messages are also being sent by the department to all the institutes who could not update the master data through email and SMS so that no student from any level is left out of the application.

Scholarship will be sent directly to Aadhaar seeded and NPCI mapped bank accounts by 28 December to the students applying as per the timetable issued by May 2, 2022 and by 20 March 2023 to the students applying as per the new timetable.
