CBSE Board : Next year 40% questions in 10th and 30% in 12th will be efficiency based

CBSE board 2023: At least 40 per cent questions in CBSE Class 10 exams and 30 per cent in Class 12 exams in 2023 will be competency-based, said the education ministry.

The Ministry of Education said that in CBSE Board 2023, at least 40 percent questions in class 10th exam and 30 percent questions in class 12th exam will be competency-based. Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi has given this information in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha. He said, the questions asked in these exams will be in many formats. In which Objective Type, Constructive Response Time, Argumentation and Reasoning and Case Based Questions will be included.

He further said, ‘After the introduction of the New Education Policy, 2020, CBSE had advised the affiliated schools to follow the recommendations regarding the pattern of education.

Let us tell you, the theory examinations for class 10th and class 12th for the academic year 2023 will start from February 15, 2023.

However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the exam datesheet.

Released Practical Exam Date

A few days back, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet 2023 for class 10th- 12th practical examinations. As per the official notice released by CBSE, CBSE practical exams for class 10th and 12th will start from January 1, 2023.

Schools have been advised to complete the practicals before the commencement of the syllabus.

At the same time, CBSE has asked schools and institutions to start preparing for practical exams.
