31K appear for NEET & 1K candidates skipped the exam in Lucknow

A thousand candidates for Lucknow skipped the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on Sunday, the gateway to MBBS and BDS headquarters in the country.

A total of 31,551 candidates took the test at the examination centers of SDSN Public School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow International Public School, Etaunja, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Gomti Nagar, Kendriya Vidyalaya in Gomti Nagar, IIM Road and Cantt.

“A total of 1,169 candidates skipped the exam in Lucknow, which went well at all centers,” said Avani Kamal, co-coordinator of the exam. There were 53 examination centers in Lucknow and a total of 32,720 candidates were required to take the exam.

Neha, a candidate who took the entrance test at an examination center in Dubagga, said: “The paper was not difficult except for the physical part. Due to the pandemic preparation has been done a bit, but I am confident that I will get good grades. “

The city was divided into two segments where 16 centers were under a coordinator and 37 centers were under a second coordinator. The flying squad also monitored the examination centers.

Candidates were allowed in from 11 a.m. under a strict covid protocol while the exam began at 2 p.m. “I think the merit will be high this time around,” said another candidate.
