Google has released some important updates that will help prevent online harassment. You can now ask Google’s to remove your images from search results.

If you use google your name, you will find images linked to your social media handles and related links. Photos are usually a visual image that you upload to social media and not a post. Now, users under the age of 18 can fill out application forms and ask Google to delete their photos.

Every time I look up my Google’s name, I find my Twitter profile, a linked profile picture and a Facebook profile picture in the search results. Search results contain a series of images similar to your new and old photos.

Photos appear in a photo effect next to links related to you. If you’ve been to any of these websites, google search results will show you that too.

This is not very safe because anyone can use your name on google and access your photos and use them for different purposes.

But in the meantime, Google offers users the option to fill out a form and ask the company to remove the images from the search results. For users under the age of 18, Parents, guardians, or “authorized representative” may apply. Google to delete photos.

“Google will remove images of current children (meaning anyone under the age of 18) from the search results at the request of a child or parent or guardian, without the charge of enforcing public interest or having legitimate concerns,” Google said.

It is important to note that users cannot request web URL removal, only an image can be removed from search results. Google has made it clear that even if you remove the image from Google Search, it may be found on the web.

This means that someone can still view the image in the web URL they are holding, or find it on social media. This means that the image will still be available in some forums even if Google removes it. For now, users can only ask Google to delete photos of a child or user under 18.

In order to request Google to remove Search Images, you will need to provide the following information:-

  • Name, age, country, and email address of the child
  • The image URL of the image (s) in question
  • Search for words and URLs that make images stand out
