Vivo Y72 5G India Launch July 15, Installation Details 8GB RAM, 90Hz Display: Report

The launch of the Vivo Y72 5G India is just around the corner, according to a new report. It mentions a Vivo official among other sources to demand that the phone make its India debut on July 15.

Tipster also shares a smartphone poster showing smartphone offers, its color options, some important details, and start offering partner bands when the phone starts selling in the world.

The Vivo Y72 5G was launched in Thailand in March this year.

91Mobiles reports that the Vivo Y72 5G will launch in India on July 15. The report also includes a poster, specially distributed by Tipster Yogesh and the book, featuring the phone in both colors – Dream Glow and Graphite Black.

The official poster suggests that the phone will be sold in India for Rs. 1,500 deposits in repayment of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

In addition, it can also be offered by replacing a single screen from Vivo and Jio benefits that cost Rs. 10,000. Quoting the tipster, the report says the Vivo Y72 5G is expected to cost less than Rs. 20,000 in India.

According to the poster, the Vivo Y72 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and have 4GB of extended RAM. The poster also shows that the smartphone will feature a full HD + display at a refreshing rate of 90Hz.

The Vivo Y72 5G was launched in Thailand in March and, with that in mind, the smartphone is expected to play a 6.58-inch full-HD + LCD IPS display (1,080×2,408 pixels).

The Indian variant can be powered by the MediaTek Dimension 700 SoC which will have 128GB of internal storage. Funtouch OS 11.1 can work, depending on Android 11.

The global version of the Vivo Y72 comes with a triple rear camera setting with a 64-megapixel main sensor, a second 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro gun.

For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel main sensor. The smartphone also carries a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast support and comes with a separate fingerprint scanner.
