A person who went there to get vaccinated on Wednesday has alleged that the nursing staff was so busy talking among themselves that they administered both the doses of Covid vaccine to him within five minutes.
Lalitpur: A shocking neglect has been reported in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a man received both doses of the Covid vaccine within five minutes.
This incident took place in a vaccination center in the town of Ravarpura. A person who went there to get the shot on Wednesday said nurses were so busy chatting with each other that they gave him both doses of the vaccine within five minutes.
The person who made this claim says they did not know there must be a gap of a few days between the two doses.
When he returned home after being vaccinated, he felt uncomfortable and agitated, so he recounted the incident to his family members. After that, he approached the CMO and complained about the same. He was then sent to the emergency room.
Meanwhile, CMO has ordered an inquiry into the matter. It said that the double vaccination will not cause any harm to the man, adding that it has received information about such a case that occurred in Lucknow.
The authorities assure that the whole matter is being investigated and strict action will be taken.
