Trading commission halved in Abu Dhabi, second cut this year

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) said on Saturday they would reduce their trading commissions to 0.025% from 0.05% from September 1, the second exchange commission cut this year and the third in three years.

Both ADX and Dubai Financial Market (DFM), in separate statements, also said they would increase trading hours by one hour from October 3.

The extension of trading hours should move the ADX in line with the wide range of trading hours around the world, he said, as part of measures to strengthen market activity and deepen market volatility.
DFM said the move would attract broad and diverse sectors of investors.
