Toyota Kirloskar has sold 9,622 units in April

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said on Saturday that its dispatch to dealers stood at 9,622 units last month. The manufacturer of Innova Crysta and Fortuner reported zero sales in April last year, leading to the government’s announcement to investigate the spread of COVID-19.

TKM Senior Vice President Naveen Soni said in a statement, “Despite the challenges, we continue to see good demand due to individual mobility needs and this has enabled us to clock 9,22 units of whales.” He added that the company is able to fulfill partially pending orders using the finished inventory from the pipeline, to ensure minimal inconvenience to customers. Sony noted. “Furthermore, sporadic lockdowns affecting different states and for different periods have increased logistic challenges to supply the right vehicle at the right dealership and at the right time.
