The Realme 9i is launched in India, bringing a 90Hz flexible display and three cameras for Rs 13,999

The Realme 9i is the company’s first smartphone launched in India on Tuesday. The latest phone comes with features such as a flexible display level and a fast charging battery – all at a very affordable price.

The launch of the Indian phone comes just days after the launch of the Realme 9i’s in Vietnam. The Realme 9i’s is one of many smartphones, such as the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9, that will build the Realme 9 series.

With Realme 9i’s, the company adopts a different design. It is actually a mockery of the GT 2 Pro company that launched in China in early January.

The biggest change you see is the rearrangement of the cameras behind the Realme 9i. Instead of a four-dimensional camera sensor, which we saw in the Realme 8 Pro, the Realme 9i has two large camera sensors on a rectangular island.

The third sensor is small in size and sits close to other sensors. OnePlus was the first product to bring this design and Realme took it to the general public.

Price of Realme 9i in India

Realme 9i comes with two final settings. The one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage costs Rs 13,999 and the one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs Rs 15,999.

Available in Prism Black and Prism Blue. The first sale of Realme 9i is on January 25, but there will be an early sale on January 22. Sales will start at Realme’s online store, Flipkart, and offline stores.

Details of Realme 9i

The Realme 9i is an affordable phone but it packs some interesting details. For example, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor inside and is suitable for games like Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The phone supports up to 6GB of RAM but flexible expansion can bring up to 11GB capacity. You can add to this storage using up to 1TB microSD card using a dedicated slot.

The Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch Full-HD + LCD with flexible upgrade. This means that the phone will adjust the refresh rate up to 90Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen.

The phone is using Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, which is a little disappointing because Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12, is already out.

The Realme 9i is 8.4mm thick and weighs 190 grams, which means it will be easy to hold this phone. The three rear cameras include a 50-megapixel main camera, a large 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel photo camera.

The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery inside with a 33W fast charging. It can take a battery capacity from 0 to 100 in 70 minutes, according to the company.

But a slight 50W speed would have been better. There is a USB-C charging port, as well as other connection options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm earphone jack.
