Taarak Mehta’s Natukaka by Ooltah Chashmah Breaks Peace on Her Return to the Show

The shooting of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has stopped due to the second wave of COVID-19 hitting the country. Now, actor Ghanshyam Nayak, who plays the role of Natukaka, has revealed that he has been home for almost a month as he last recorded a comedy in March.

Speaking to the Times of India, Nayak said, “I have been home for more than a month. It is unclear when my track will start as shooting has stopped for now. The makers have not yet decided to change the foundation, either.

I was filming the episode in March and after that I was at home. I am sure the makers will start my trail soon and show you how Natukaka returns to Mumbai from the village.

When asked how he was doing, he said, “It’s very difficult. I’ve been home and my family insists I’m not out at all. Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first.

How long will I stay alone and not at work? It’s hard for top characters because of the virus. I understand the safety procedures of top actors, but my mind and body have to get up and work.

In changing the location of the shooting, he said, “That depends on the makers. From now on, I don’t know if the set will move or not. I hope to start shooting Taark in Film City soon.”
