Spotify Provide Podcast Writing, Increase Feature Features, Allow Downloads Playlists on Wear OS

Spotify has announced three new features – buttons with additional readable features, text-changing options, and beta podcast text. These new features will reach Spotify with an update that will begin to be released in the coming weeks with Android and iOS apps.

The text feature will now be available for Spotify Original podcasts but we plan to include all podcasts in the future. Spotify also announced during the Google I / O text that it will soon allow users to download playlists and podcasts on Wear OS devices.

Spotify has announced future features for the blog post. Spotify is bringing an update to both Android and iOS apps and will be released in the coming weeks.

One of the most notable features of the music streaming service is the ability to automatically create podcasts. However, the feature will currently include Spotify Original and Spotify Exclusive podcasts but other podcasts will also feature this feature at a later date.

The new Spotify text feature will allow users to read certain parts of the podcast audio with or without audio. It will allow users to quickly scroll through and navigate to a specific part of the podcast episode. Additionally, users can click on a specific section to start playing podcasts from that point.

Another notable new feature is the ability to increase Spotify text size and additional readability features. The music streaming platform already features customized text editing using Dynamic text. Spotify said on the blog, “With the latest accessibility updates, we are enabling users to expand the text significantly, improve overall navigation in the app and give listeners more power to practice their ingenuity.”

For iOS, users can increase text size by going to Settings> Accessibility> Display and Text Size> Large Text. Users can drag the slider to adjust the text size they wish. However, users need to keep in mind that making text too large will make it harder to tap buttons or other functions in the Spotify app.

Spotify also changes the layout of the buttons to make it easier to use for visually impaired and visually impaired users. Spotify changes buttons to push playlists or to start a listening session by color, text formatting, and size. Spotify explained, “Changing text formatting from all caps creates more space for translation or localization in more than 60 languages that Spotify currently supports.”

Spotify announced during the Google I / O Keynote event that it will add the ability to download playlists and podcasts to Wear OS devices. This feature was previously available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Jessika Malmcrona, Product Lead for Car & Wearables, Spotify, said, “We believe that clothing will be very important in the future, and we see our investment in Wear as very important in Spotify.”
