Samsung Smart Monitor M5, Smart Monitor M7 gets two new sizes

The Samsung Smart Monitor layout has been expanded with a variety of new sizes. 43-inch 4K Smart Monitor M7 and 24-inch 1080p Smart Monitor M5.

Samsung announced the Smart Monitor series in November and came with a 27-inch Smart Monitor M5 and a 32-inch Smart Monitor M7 in India last month. Intelligent monitors are used by Tizen and come with a new energy saving, remote control of cell power.

The South Korean technology giant has announced that the 43-inch 4K Smart Monitor M7 and 24-inch 1080p Smart M5 will cost up to $ 199 (approximately Rs. 14,400) in the US.

The exact price and availability of monitors have not been disclosed. There is no clarification from Samsung on whether these new monitors will be available in other global markets in the future.

Samsung’s 24-inch Smart Monitor M5 features full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) IPS display with 16: 9 aspect ratio, 250 nits bright, 178-degree viewing angle, 14ms response time, and HDR10 support.

It is powered by a Tizen processor and has a screen resolution of 60Hz. The 43-inch Samsung Smart Monitor M7 features an Ultra-HD display with HDR10 support, built-in content streaming applications and offline switching functionality.

Both of these monitors have a TV Plus feature that provides free live and demanded content without any download or registration required. The Global Guide option provides content recommendations based on user preferences and viewing patterns, to ensure completely personalized suggestions on popular apps such as Netflix and Prime Video.

This eliminates the need for a smart TV and smart monitors even come with a remote. The 43-inch M7 features a solar-powered, all-in-one energy-efficient plastic controller. It can be charged with sunlight, lightbulbs, or a USB C port.

The 43-inch 4K Smart Monitor M7 and the 24-inch 1080p Smart Monitor M5 support Google Assistant and Alexa Voice Assistant alongside Bixby.

There is a Remote Access feature to be updated on ‘PC on Screen’ in June, enabling easy and secure communication between Smart Monitor and external PCs to improve usage. Monitors support Samsung DeX, Microsoft 365 applications, embedded Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity.
