Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro mocked before launch, confirmed to come with Google Tensor, a custom chip

Google on Monday, in what could be called an indirect move, shared previews of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones and other details on the chipset.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones will be powered by a new custom chipset called Google Tensor. A search engine official says a new chip developed by Google is designed for Pixel phones.

With so many leaks out, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are coming up with a design from a smaller classic design that we may have started to like recently.

However, the new background design looks aggressive and points to what the company has in store for its users.

The company has confirmed that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will come in three colors. While both phones look sporty the background panel design looks similar, but the company says, “Pro tip (ha!) – Pixel phones with more space than the camera bar = Pixel6 Pro.”

Sharing the big details around the cameras, Google has confirmed that the Pixel 6 Pro will play three rear cameras, including a lens for phones with 4x optical zoom, the first of Pixel phones.

Coming to Pixel 6, which may be cheaper between the two, doesn’t come with a phone sensor. Also, Google says, “We leave the telephoto to a professional, don’t say.”

This is the first time that the Google Pixel smartphone has come up with a SoC designed for Google, called Google Tensor.

The company says the highlight of the new SoC is that it can manage the most powerful Google’s (AI) technology and machine learning (ML) directly over the phone.

Some of the departments where Google’s says the difference will be seen will be cameras, speech recognition, and other departments.
