UK Health Minister Sajid Javed said on Saturday that two cases of Omicron, a new variant of the corona virus, had been confirmed in the country.
The “BBC” quoted the Minister of Health as saying that patients infected with the new form of the virus have been identified in Chelmsford and Nottingham. Javed said the two cases are linked to each other and the two patients are in quarantine in their respective homes. The health minister said people who came into contact with the patients are being wanted.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized that the new Omicron variant may prove to be dangerous for humans. Expressing concern, the organization said the new variant will spread quickly. It is quite dangerous and an infection was found in the two people who were vaccinated. Not only that, a person infected with the new variant in Israel received a third booster dose with the two doses of the corona vaccine. Scientists are performing analyzes and it has been found that the new variant spreads faster than any other variant including Delta.
