J-K: An unnamed terrorist was killed on Sunday in a clash with security officers in the city’s Harwan neighborhood, authorities said.
According to them, the meeting took place late at night.
According to media accounts, a joint police-CRPF squad conducted a cordon and search operation in the Harwan area, as a result of which the terrorist was neutralized.
In an official statement, police in the Kashmir area said: “An unidentified terrorist has been killed. Currently researching. Further details will follow.
Police say the brawl erupted after security personnel conducted a cordon and search operation in the city’s Harwan neighborhood after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
They said the identity of the dead terrorists and ties to the organization were being determined.
LeT terrorist killed by security forces in Poonch
Earlier this month, a terrorist belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba was killed on Tuesday during a meeting with security forces in the Poonch district of J-K (Jammu and Kashmir). The Lashkar terrorist has been identified as Abu Zarar, a Pakistani national.
The incident took place in the area of Behramgala in Poonch. An AK-47 rifle and ammunition were recovered from the scene.
