IPhone14, iPhone 14 Max may exceed the 120Hz ProMotion display

Apple, last year, finally brought a high level of refinement to the iPhone14, but to the disappointment of some people, the new feature was limited to Pro, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models. And this year may not be the same.

New leaks have suggested that the iPhone 14 series will bring 120 ProMotion displays to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max only.

Therefore, the two entry-level models, which may be the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max, probably will not deliver standard 60Hz OLED displays.

Inside the industry Ross Young said the first two models in the iPhone 14 series would surpass ProMotion technology.

Rumors suggest that Apple will launch four iPhones this year, too. But there may not be a small model. Instead, there will be a second Max model called the iPhone 14 Max with slightly lower details than the standard iPhone 14 Pro Max.

And this iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 entry level will be the ones not to miss the 120Hz ProMotion display.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will reportedly receive a low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) panel, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will use low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO), which allows quality dynamic update on screen.

In line with the content to save battery life. While Samsung or perhaps LG can provide LTPO panels for high-end iPhone 14 Pro models, BOE will produce LTPS panels.

New leaks collide with past rumors in a big way. The iPhone 13 was Apple’s first series to incorporate a high level of upgrades, so it was easy for us to give Apple a certain approach because it wanted to see the response.

The 120Hz ProMotion has been a success, so expecting it on the cheaper iPhone models this year is natural.

Young said he had obtained information from industry sources that Apple had a BOE contract to showcase iPhone 14 models and the display company did not have the type of technology required by ProMotion.

While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are reportedly going to continue the notch design, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max could switch to punch-hole design.

That could mean that the Face ID system will have to go somewhere. While some reports have said that Face ID sensors will go under the screen as the camera stays inside the punch-hole camera, other reports have suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have both punch hole and tablet-cutting shaped, inside which could be the senses or better yet, the iPhone 14 will bring major changes that users will love or hate.
