Carl Pei’s Nothing (1) phone launched in June? Here is what his tweet says

Former OnePlus CEO Carl Pei’s Nothing will soon launch his first phone. The phone, called Nothing Phone (1), is now expected to arrive in early June.

The product page, which does not reveal much about the upcoming smartphone, is live on Flipkart. Earlier, Pei revealed that No Phone (1) will be powered by Qualcomm’s system-on-chip and will use Nothing OS on top.

“Now that we have raised $ 144M, built a team of more than 300 people and gained the support of our trusted partners like Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., we are ready for the Phone (1) to signal the beginning of change in the smartphone market,” said Pei. event.

Now Pei seems to have revealed a smartphone launch date, or at random. Responding to a tweet asking about the date of India’s launch, Pei said, “6/9 at 4:20.”

Although he did not disclose any further information about the phone, his tweet may state that Nothing Phone will be launched on June 9, 2022 at 4:20 pm, according to US date format.

Not much about the launch event is revealed. The company is also yet to officially announce the launch date for Nothing.

Although the company led by Carl Peo did not share phone-related information, the new leak shared phone details on Twitter.

According to Tipster Raghvendra Singh Jadon, Nothing Phone (1) will have a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED display supported by 90Hz. The device will come with an HDR10 + certificate supported by sRGB colors and a DCI-P3 color gamut.

The smartphone is thought to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC. The processor is already used on phones such as the Vivo T1 Pro 5G, QOO Z6 Pro 5G, Realme GT Master Edition and iQOO Z5 5G.

The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to include three rear cameras that can include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP main camera.

Previously, it could have a 32-megapixel camera for photos you took. The smartphone is expected to have a 4500 mAh battery and may support faster charging. It may also provide support for wireless charging technology.
