Government owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offers pre-paid programs with high performance rates. Telco also offers a variety of data benefits with its pre-paid programs.
If one can ignore the speed of the internet, the benefits from BSNL outweigh those of private telcoes. For example, a pre-paid BSNL entry-level system with a value of Rs 107 provides 84 days performance and provides access to 3GB daily data and 100 minutes of free voice calls and access to BSNL songs for 60 days.
BSNL offers a pre-paid Rs 249 service that provides 2GB of daily data and a 60-day fitness. However, users should note that this is the first charging coupon (FRC) and will only work for new users.
The program provides 2GB daily data and 100 SMS per day. After getting tired of 2GB of daily data, the speed is reduced to 40 Kbps.
The pre-paid BSNL Rs 247 system offers unlimited voice calls and provides access to high speed data of 50GB after which the speed is reduced to 80 Kbps.
The system also provides 100 SMS per day and provides access to ringtones and has a 30-day operation. BSNL has a special Rs 298 special voucher for 56 days and offers unlimited voice calls, 1GB daily data and 100 SMS per day.
BSNL has a pre-paid Rs 319 program that offers unlimited voice calls for 75 days. The BSNL Rs 395 voucher offers 71 days validity, 3000 minutes for free internet calls, 1800 minutes for free offline calls and 2GB daily data.
One of the most popular prepaid programs from BSNL is a prepaid Rs 397 prepaid system with 300 working days and provides 2GB daily data with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. After daily data exhaustion, the speed is reduced to 80 Kbps. The free cost of this program lasts up to 60 days.
BSNL also offers a prepaid Rs 399 prepaid system that provides 1GB daily data for 80 days valid and unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day.
With the advent of the next prepaid plan from telco with a value of Rs 485, the system offers 90 allowable days with access to 1.5GB daily data and 100 SMS per day. It also provides access to unlimited calls.
