Toronto: Remains of more than 200 children, some as young as 3, have been found buried at Kamloops Indian Residential School in Canada. According to Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc Nation, student accommodation at the school in British Columbia was revived with the help of ground radar technology. “We knew in our community that we were able to convince you. At the moment, we have more questions than answers, ”said an official of Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc (formerly known as the Kamloops Indian Band) in a statement.
“This past weekend, with the help of a ground radar expert, came to the forefront of the findings – confirmation of the remains of 215 children who were students of Kamloops Indian Residential School,” said Chief Rosanne Casimir, adding that the missing children were undocumented deaths.
