18 firefighters are reportedly hired to extinguish the blaze at the Hashem Foods Limited factory building. According to this, people gathered in front of the building in search of their still missing relatives. The identity of 44 workers among the missing has been confirmed.

Rescued workers and their families said the only exit door to the factory was closed when the fire broke out. He also claimed that there were no proper fire protection measures in the building.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy director of the Narayanganj District Fire Department, said it would take some time to bring the blaze under control. He said: “Until the fire is brought under control, it is not possible to say how much damage was caused in this accident and what the cause of the fire was.” The committee was formed.
