A TCS spokesman told that the salary increase would go into effect in April 2021. In a statement, the company said it was in the process of giving all its relatives a raise, starting April 2021.

It can be noted that this will be the second salary increase the company will be issuing in six months. The company had delayed the previous round of increases due to the Covid-19 epidemic in March last year.
TCS employees are expected to receive a typical 12-14 percent increase as part of the FY22 pay rise. Not only wage increases but TCS will also continue to offer employee promotions as part of the regular cycle.
Earlier, Accenture had announced a one-time bonus for its employees on March 18. Meanwhile, Cognizant had raised 24,000 employees worldwide and increased salaries based on the performance of 1.6 lakh employees.
Other IT firms such as Infosys, Wipro and HCL Tech issued wage increases to their employees between October 2020 and January 2021.
