Samsung will release a software update to fix issues affecting phones: Report

Samsung has announced that it will soon be releasing software updates for its various smartphones that have been found to work well on thousands of applications, according to the report.

The South Korean technology giant has said its pre-loaded Game Optimizing Service does not manage the performance of non-playable apps.

Operation dip was recognized for other games such as Genshin Impact and apps including Instagram, Netflix, and other Google apps.

It should be noted that measurement applications such as 3DMark and Geekbench did not appear to be affected by efficiency.

“We appreciate the feedback we receive about our products and after careful consideration, we plan to release a software update soon so users can control performance while using game apps,” Samsung spokeswoman Kelly Yeo told The Verge.

The company reportedly sent a statement about its Samsung membership system in Korean language. A Twitter user later translated it and posted it online.

Various Samsung Galaxy smartphone users have gone to Twitter to report problems affecting their phones. A Twitter user alleges that Samsung phones use a pre-downloaded app called Game Optimizing Service to limit the use of hardware resources in more than 10,000 applications.

It has been reported that the default application works in the background when using both non-play and playback apps.

It is also believed that the heart-wrenching issue is limited to the handsets of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

However, Geekbench developer John Poole has confirmed that performance limitations are evident in older models.

The exact reason why Samsung is alleged to have disrupted the performance of its devices through Game Optimizing Service is unclear, and the company did not provide the same details in its statement.

It is thought that limiting CPU and GPU resources could provide better battery life and avoid overheating problems.
