Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Thursday said it would launch its premium SUV XUV700 in the second quarter of ongoing funding.
The new model, built on the W601 platform, will be installed at the company’s Chakan facility in Maharashtra, M&M said in a statement.

It will come out with “world-class safety features, which confirm Mahindra’s commitment to safety”, the company said.
The upcoming version will provide diesel and petrol engines for manual and automatic transmissions, as well as All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) capabilities to choose from, he said.

M&M Global Product Development Manager R Velusamy said the XUV portfolio has always stood for ‘creating disruption and setting new standards’ with models like the XUV500 and XUV300.
“The XUV700 is built on the entire global SUV platform W601, which has expert partners around the world and will boast of technology and original components,” said Velusamy.
