Kanye West rejects $ 100 deal with Apple Music, calling it pressure

American rapper Kanye West has rejected Apple’s $ 100 million deal. He has announced that his upcoming album “Donda 2” will not be released on Apple Music, it will only be available on his Stem Player device.

West criticized Apple and other music streaming apps for contemptuous artists. In a series of Instagram posts, West criticized Apple, saying “no one can pay me to be disrespected”.

Kanye West announced his upcoming album, Donda 2, on February 18, 2022. He said in an Instagram post that artists receive a portion of the revenue generated by Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, and YouTube by selling their songs.

Donda 2 will only be available on my site, Stem Player. Not on Apple, Amazon, Spotify or YouTube. Today, artists receive only 12% of the industry’s revenue.

Time to release music from this stressful program. Time to control and build our own. Go to Templayer.com now to order, ”she wrote on her Instagram account.

Donda 2 follows in the footsteps of his hit album Donda, which recorded a record 60 million broadcasts on Apple Music in the first 24 hours. However, the sequel will not be released from Apple Music, but will come out of a Western broadcast player, called Stem Player.

In a separate tweet, DJ Akademiks posted on Twitter, “Apple is offering a two-million-dollar + sponsorship deal to Kanye West after announcing he will not be launching Donda 2 on Apple Music. They were to broadcast the event on 2/22/22.

West added Apple to his “beef list” including Spotify, TikTok, Disney, Jeff Bezos, Barack Obama, Black History Month, and “all SNL actors.”

For the uneducated, West’s Stem Player is not really a broadcaster bully. It is actually a small music player that allows users to split songs into titles, the website said.

It is estimated at $ 200 (approximately Rs.15,000 excluding shipping costs). The Bluetooth device allows users to control the lyrics, drums, bass and split songs into several parts.

The device has 8GB of built-in storage, also a USB-Type C port, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 97db speaker. Launched by Kanye West last year in partnership with Kano Computing.
