Chrome provides a setting that displays all of your account IDs and passwords. It is called auto-filling. Remarkably, to use this option to the best of your ability, you should have saved your ID and password in the browser earlier.
Now, let’s take a look at how the auto-fill feature works and how you can use Chrome to get a password you don’t remember.
Step 1: Open Chrome browser on your desktop or mobile phone.
Step 2: In the right-hand corner of the website, you will find the Settings option. Click on it.
Step 3: Next, click the AutoFill option in the left-hand corner of the screen.
Step 4: Then click the Start Password option.
Step 5: There you will be able to see all the account passwords that you have saved in Chrome.
Now, you can simply click on the password icon and click on the three dots or the hot-dog menu to copy the forgotten ID and password.
Remarkably, if you did not save the password in Chrome in the past, then the only way to regain access to your account is to reset it.
