New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. According to sources, there is a serious discussion about expanding the state cabinet amid the rumblings within the party.

Sources have revealed that Congress renegade Jitin Prasada is likely to be inducted into the cabinet.

Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister faces dissent from MPs and MPs, which has led to the review of meetings in the state by the Saffron Party. The heads of state of BJP ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), including Dattatreya Hosbale, also made similar reports.

Apna Dal (S) leader Anupriya Patel, a BJP ally in Uttar Pradesh who was a minister in the first Modi-led government, also met with Home Secretary Amit Shah, suggesting the party Saffron is looking to build allies to improve its position in the state that will go to the polls early next year.

According to some reports, Interior Minister Amit Shah wants to make Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet and party structure more “accommodating”. It will also require a good balance of caste equations within the organization. The CM currently has 42 ministers and can add 18 more.

UP CM is also expected to meet with BJP chairman JP Nadda and discuss cabinet expansion and rumblings within the party.

Yogi Adityanath will also meet with President Ram Nath Kovind. It’s supposed to be a courtesy meeting.
