Talking about her career, Yami Gautam, who made her debut in the lead role in the daily soap ‘Chand Ke Paar Chalo’, turned to the big screen after working in several commercials and other serials and in the year 2012, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the film ‘ She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Vicky Donor’. After this, she has been appreciated for her performance in many films like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Bala and Thursday.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Yami Gautam said, “My journey continues…I have faced a lot of ups and downs but in the end it was all worth it…”. Further, recalling the success of her first film, the actress said, “After the success of my first film, I felt lost, I didn’t know which path to choose next, I was overwhelmed by the opportunities I got at that time. Wasn’t able to connect”.

Yami says that at that time my mind used to roam whether I should remain without work or I should take advantage of these opportunities or keep trying… In this way it took me some time to understand myself and give the right direction.
