Xiaomi Redmi 10 pre-launched online before launch, tips on prices Rs 13,000

Xiaomi looks set to unveil its next Redmi 9 series this year. Named Redmi 10, the budget smartphone will still be officially announced by the company.

Although its recent online listing suggests that it is ready to mark its start with a certain fire force at a price point.

The new Redmi 10 listing is suspected of being seen on many e-commerce websites prior to the launch of this device.

The listing shows the Xiaomi smartphone coming in all its glory and reveals its many details. Here’s a look at this in more detail.

Redmi Design 10

As shared by tipster Mukul Sharma, a few Redmi 10 images have been spotted on some commerce websites.

The photos show the Redmi 10 sports thick bezel on all sides, with a punch-hole display for the selfie shooter.

The back panel appears to include a multi-tone gradient with Redmi branding at the bottom left.

There is a quad-lens rear camera setup and an LED flash, neatly placed inside a rectangular module.

The volume rockers and power button are located on the right edge of the device. The top includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Details of Redmi 10

In addition to the design, the listing also features more specifications of the Redmi 10.

This features a 6.5-inch Full HD + display on a smartphone screen with 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 over protection. The back is made of plastic.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor that will come with a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will use MIUI12 based on Android 11.

Optics on the smartphone will include a quad camera set with a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and two 2-megapixel depth lenses and macro shots.

The punch-hole display will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that will support 18W fast charging.

Connection options will include USB Type-C 2.0, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, Micro SIM support and dual SIM support. The smartphone measures 162 x 75.3 x 8.95 mm.

The list suggests that Redmi 10 will be available with three color options – Pebble White, Sea Blue and Carbon Gray.

Its price is listed at USD 249 (approximately Rs 13,600), although this may differ when Xiaomi brings the metal to India at the end of the year.
