With 12.9 million iPad shipments, Apple is also leading the tablet segment worldwide and not surprisingly

According to a full report from the International Data Corporation (IDC), sales of the iPad dropped slightly in Q2 2021, but iPads still easily control the tablet market, with a market share of 36.3 percent.

Apple has sold its three closest rivals, Samsung, Lenovo and Amazon together.

Apple shipped 12.9 million iPads across the product line during Q2 2021, an increase of 3.5% from 12.5 million units in Q2 2020. Samsung and Lenovo saw annual growth in 13.3% tablet exports and and 64.5% respectively.

While online-caused epidemic studies and remote operation have increased the demand for chrome tablets and books, manufacturers have had to fight for the supply of chips and other items in the face of global silicon shortages.

After updating the iPad Air in 2020 and releasing the updated iPad Pro earlier this year, Apple is expected to update the iPad Mini.

With so many products on its iPad list, Apple has been trying to accommodate more customers across all budgets. Apple also has a wider portfolio of tablets from the iPad mini to the larger iPad Pro series.

The company also brings powerful chips such as the Apple M1-based chip chip. In addition, the company is said to be bringing Touch ID and Face ID to its many papers in the future.

With the launch of the new iPad mini, Apple hopes to collect the largest share of the budget tablet market.

However, other competitors including Samsung are playing catch-up and are not developing their tablet segment more often, following Apple’s lead.

According to Tim Cook, Apple chief executive, ‘Padad’ has had its best quarter in nearly a decade. It generated $ 7.4 billion in quarterly revenue.

That’s an increase of $ 6.6 billion compared to the same period last year.

The IDC says that while the tablet market is performing well quarterly, this segment is experiencing a decline from the explosion in past residential areas.

Samsung sold 7.996 million tablets in Q2, growing by 13.8 percent, and finished the quarter with a market share of 20.5 percent.

Lenovo came in third with 4,688 million units sold, 75 percent growth, and a market share of 12 percent.

And Amazon was in fourth place with 3.118 million units sold and eight percent of the market share; sales of Amazon tablets dropped by 1.5 percent a quarter.

Apple no longer reports unit sales for any of its products, so the number of tablets sold is approximate.
