Schools be open soon: Although it seems that the institution does not have a plan to reopen schools soon, some provinces have taken steps to address this.

New Delhi: News of school reopening: Schools across the country, most of them reopened in February-March after a one-year closure, were due to close again shortly thereafter, for fear of the second wave of COVID-19 in the country. Students now attend online classes for more than a year. With the declining number of Covid cases in many provinces, the question of school reopening has also risen.
When will schools reopen in India? The center was interviewed recently.

“There is a lot to consider when deciding on the reopening of schools; a completely different topic. This is an ongoing question in the government system, ”said Dr VK Paul, a member of Niti Aayog (health).

Many states had to close schools, soon after reopening, as cases grew. “We do not want to put our children, teachers in that situation unless we are more confident that the epidemic will not harm us,” said Dr Paul.

Although it seems that the center does not have a plan to open schools soon, some provinces have taken steps to address this.

Telangana School Opens
The Telangana government has decided to continue offline classes from July 1. It is a decision taken after reviewing reports submitted by officials of the Telangana Department of Health and Health, and considering the declining number of cases in Covid, according to the state government.

UP school reopening
Uttar Pradesh has relaxed the Covid curbs but physical education activities will not resume yet. Schools, colleges, and other educational and training institutions will remain closed for offline teaching, in line with the country’s new government guidelines.

The reopening of the Maharashtra school
In Maharashtra, towns and villages have not reported new cases of coronavirus for a long time and where there is no chance of new infections can be considered the opening of schools and colleges.

Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday instructed the state Department of Education to look into the possibility of re-establishing schools and colleges for Class 10 and 12 students in those areas.

School opens in Delhi
Delhi’s CMI Deputy Manis Sisodia has confirmed that the government will not call on students to exercise anytime soon.

Karnataka School, College Reopening
While there is no certainty when schools will reopen in Karnataka, Prime Minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday said the government would consider opening higher education institutions gradually after vaccinating students and teachers, following the recommendations of the expert committee on the third Covid wave.

He said the committee had advised to speed up the process because the policies were a solution for Covid’s control.

“The committee has supported the rest of the Covid councils announced by the government, and recommended the opening of educational institutions in the coming days, starting with higher education colleges, after the vaccination,” Mr Yediyurappa said.

Assam School opens
Summer holidays at Assam schools end on June 14, but schools continue to close. Only online classes are allowed. Board tests in the province were recently canceled, a few days after the government said those would be held in July if the Covid positivity level in the government dropped by less than 2 percent.
