Will NEET PG 2022 be postponed? Mansukh Mandaviya and the ABVP have a “meaningful discussion.”

An Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) delegation met with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today to discuss the postponement of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2022. According to an official statement from the student union, a meaningful discussion on six key points to justify the postponement of NEET PG 2022 was held in the meeting with Mandaviya and Health Department officials. “After this extensive discussion,” the statement said, “a direction to the discussion is expected, providing relief to the candidates.”

The ABVP delegation also presented the students’ case to the Union Health Minister in the form of a memorandum. According to the statement, the ABVP also demanded that candidates be allowed to fill out the NEET PG 2022 registration form by reopening the link for a day for students whose allotted seats had been cancelled.

“We are constantly striving to fulfil the demands of the students,” said National Convener of MeDe Vision Virendra Solanki, who led the delegation. We are in contact with thousands of students across the country, whose perspectives we have shared with the Health Ministry. It is expected that a student-friendly solution will be found as soon as possible.

“Our delegation mainly put forward six important points in front of the Union Minister, and the officials acknowledged it to be major issues that need to be focused on,” said Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary of the ABVP. So, we are confident that these points will pave the way for the decision and provide relief to the students.”

The Supreme Court, without interfering, left the decision to extend the NEET PG exam date to the central government last week. The Supreme Court denied the petition to postpone the NEET PG exam, stating that doing so would cause “chaos and uncertainty.”
