WhatsApp introduces a new ETA feature for beta users

WhatsApp works on a few aspects to improve the experience of message users. One of them is the response to the messages, which are expected to arrive later this year.

The company is also exploring how to allow users to poll in groups. Users may also soon be able to send files up to 2GB in size. Now, WaBetaInfo has seen a new feature in the beta version of Android and iOS. WhatsApp introduces a new ETA feature to improve your document sharing experience.

As with screenshots shared by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp will now show you the exact time a file or document will be downloaded or uploaded.

This is a great feature as you can just send a bunch of files, and see how long it will take for the app to load, which will save a lot of time and one will be able to work on something instead of waiting for the process to be completed.

This feature will be useful when sharing large files or documents or videos with your friends and family members. This feature is currently only available for users of iOS, Android, and beta version of the desktop WhatsApp.

People who sign up for the beta app will see the change as soon as the forum has already started uninstalling this feature.

Apart from this, WhatsApp also operates on one of the most important features and that is a 2GB file sharing limit. This is a much needed feature as some Telegram-like platforms already offer this to users.

WhatsApp is one of the most widely used apps in India and is not only used to send messages, but also to exchange photos, videos and files. A new file sharing limit feature is in the testing phase and it is not yet known when this will be released. The current file sharing limit can be up to 100MB.

Alternatively, the message field also works on a feature that lets you select image upload quality. The app will give users three options, such as Auto, Best Quality, and Data Storage. All three describe themselves.

This will be another useful feature that WhatsApp plans to provide users with this feature. One can now test this only in beta version.

In case you do not know, WhatsApp automatically compresses the file size when you share it with anyone. This lowers the quality of photos and videos.
