‘We are all rejected’: Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey says they were excluded from the movies

Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane spoke about their transformation experiences in Bollywood. Three will appear in Netflix’s upcoming release, Haseen Dillruba.

Taapsee Pannu recalled how 2019 filmmaker Pati Patni Aur Woh had called for an apology after taking over. The actor, who is ready for the release of his new movie Haseen Dillruba on Netflix, has opened up about facing rejection and more.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Taapsee said, “Mujhe bas nikal diya gaya. I knew about the media. They called me, just to apologize after I had spoken. However, they were reluctant to reveal the real reason for the decision. ”

Although Taapsee did not name the film, it appears the actor was referring to the replacement of Bhumi Pednekar to Pati Patni Aur Woh, who also plays the role of Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. The directors later released a statement, “Quotee Pannu” was one of many actresses we had contacted to find one of the best actresses in the film. However, we as producers have never committed ourselves to him. ”

“I had taken my days off. And they took me out, ”said Taapsee. Laughing, he added, “We are all fighting.” The interview featured his co-stars Haseen Dillrubba Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane, as well as director Vinil Mathew.

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan about the replacement, Vikrant shared, “It happened to me many times. I was preparing a film, our workshops were open, the producer was treating me to delicious food, and I had to start shooting in two weeks. “When I came back, I knew someone had been arrested. In fact, there was no contact (from the makers). I picked up the newspaper the next morning and read the story that the film I was making, now has another actor.”

Harshvardhan, however, had a different story. According to him, “I am mainly a replacement. I think that even in real life, I am a human being. “He revealed in a similar interview that he had replaced someone at Saman Teri Kasam.
