Indian captain Virat Kohli is set to step down as skipper of the limited format, according to a report from TOI. Rohit Sharma could take over the reins from Virat Kohli. These changes in the squad will take place after the end of the T20 World Cup. Captain Kohli will continue to be the captain of the Indian test team but will step down as T20I and ODI captain.
Virat Kohli himself will make the big announcement of his departure as captain of the white ball. “Virat himself will make the announcement.
