New Delhi: It’s been almost two years since Indian team skipper Virat Kohli marked his 71st century in international cricket. It was November 2019, the star drummer marked the last century of his international career against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens. After that, Virat played 49 international rounds, but each time missed a century. Not only that, but Virat also struggled to score points and was under the scanner for average hitting performance.

Virat may be going through the worst phase of his career, but he will soon be recording a record that will delight millions of Indian fans with him.

Virat Kohli is just 63 Runs away from scoring 23,000 points in international cricket. Virat has so far scored 22,937 points in 437 games.

For India, legends like Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar have scored more points than Virat in international cricket. Sachin and Dravid have scored 34,357 and 24,208 Runs respectively in international cricket.

Apart from these two legends, Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Australian Ricky Ponting, and South African Jacques Kallis have scored more points than Virat in international cricket.

India is currently playing a five-game test series against England. So far two tests have been played in the series and India has taken a 1-0 lead. The third match of the series between the two teams will be played in Leeds at Headingley.
