Today the Delhi Thursday National War Memorial but arrived to pay homage to the brave soldiers. Besides the Prime Minister, there were also the heads of the three squadrons of the army, namely the army, the air force and the navy. The Prime Minister also tweeted his photo.

Fighter planes make such formations in the sky for Vijay Diwas in memory of the martyr’s companion in the air force and keep the space of an airplane empty. While it was mere coincidence that the photographer took the photo from this angle, it turned out to be a missing man formation at the National War Memorial.

Note that 13 people, including General CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, Rawat’s defense adviser, Brigadier LS Lidder, were killed in a helicopter crash in Kannur, Tamil Nadu.

Tributes paid to soldiers who died in the 1971 war

General Rawat also congratulated the personnel of the armed forces on the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war, a day before his death. The army had released a video of it.

In the video clip, General Rawat paid a heartfelt tribute to the personnel of the Indian Armed Forces who lost their lives in the 1971 war with Pakistan and called on compatriots to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory in the war.
