UPTET paper leak: Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi says perpetrators will not be spared. Exam to be held in a month

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested several people who allegedly leaked the UPTET exam papers. The review was canceled after the document was leaked via WhatsApp to Prayagraj, Mathura and Shamli this morning.

More than 21 lakh 50,000 candidates were due to take the exam, which will now take place in about a month, officials said.

“The culprits will not be spared”

During the cancellation of the UPTET exam, UP Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi said he had already ordered police to file an FIR in the case. He said the culprits will not be spared.

Dwivedi said that after the disclosure of the UPTET exam documents, the exam was canceled with immediate effect. He said the exam will take place within a month at no cost to candidates.

The minister said the UP STF had entrusted the investigation to identify the culprits and take strict action against them. On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said the whole case is under investigation.

The opposition launches an attack

On the other hand, the Samajwadi party attacked the BJP for canceling the exam. Party spokesman Anurag Bhadoria said the document was leaked before each review.

Bhadoria said: “Since the BJP government came to power, the education mafia has sprung up. The document is leaked before every exam.”

Congress has also cornered the government of Uttar Pradesh on the issue.
