UPPSC PCS Prelims 2021 Result: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) released the results of the 2021 Provincial Civil Service Preliminary Examination (PCS). The exam took place on October 24. A total of 6,91,173 candidates applied for the exam, of which 3,21,273 appeared. A total of 7,688 candidates were declared qualified for PCS positions. The preliminary examination for the combined state services and senior subordinate services was conducted in two teams and candidates were required to sit for the two tests to be assessed.

Preliminary Exam Paper II was a qualifying event with minimum qualifying scores set at 33 percent. The candidates’ merit was determined on the basis of the marks obtained in test I of the preliminary examination on the basis of which the result was declared.
Those who qualified the preliminary exam will now take the main exam. The main exams will start on January 28, 2022. It is a subjective test and the candidates who qualify this step will then present themselves for the interview. The final result will be declared after completing the three steps.
