UP Gov.- Renaming of Jhansi Station: The government of Uttar Pradesh sent a proposal to the Center to change the name of Jhansi Station to “Veerangana Laxmibai Station”. Union Minister of State for the Interior, Nityanand Rai, said that after receiving the proposal to rename Jhansi Station to “Veerangana Laxmibai Station”, comments and views from relevant agencies have been invited in accordance with due process.
