UG, PG Exams postponed at Kashmir University till May 2

The University of Kashmir has postponed all offline and undergraduate and postgraduate exams until May 2. According to official varsity notice, the decision is taken “on the basis of the circumstances”. New postponed test dates will be announced later.

The University has imposed a number of restrictions on the epidemic. The center will continue to close until April 28, given the high incidence of cases of Covid-19 cases among employees from various University units, official notice said.

Employees of essential services including health facility, sanitation, land reform unit, construction unit, technical unit, etc. will continue to perform their duties to the fullest extent possible.

“Staff with Coronavirus symptoms are advised to get tested themselves for Covid-19,” university said.

The university has asked all teaching departments to provide instructional instructions to students of all semesters using online mode until May 15. Classes for those courses only required laboratory or research.

The head of department has been requested to submit a report on the progress of the teaching, of the teachers’ intelligence on the various school administrations to the education affairs manager on a weekly basis. The HOD will publish a timetable online and monitor the work of their departments daily until May 15.

The university has also extended the admission deadline for private colleges affiliated with the University of Kashmir for BBA, BCA, B.Sc., IT, BA Mass Communication, multimedia production, and B.Com (Honors) until May 5. Earlier, it had to close on April 20.
