The unique Xiaomi 12 of the world may run Android 12 out of the box when it is launched

Xiaomi 12 was launched in December last year, and the company’s latest smartphone is expected to launch in international markets soon.

Prior to the launch of a smartphone outside of China, Xiaomi 12 was spotted on Geekbench running on Android 12.

According to Geekbench it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Xiaomi 12 will run Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13 interface, just like in China.

The Xiaomi 12 smartphone has a 6.28-inch Full-HD + AMOLED display and a high resolution level of up to 120 Hz. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus protection and metal structure.

The global version of Xiaomi 12’s recorded 711 points in single-core and 2834 points in multi-core Geekbench 5.4.4 for Android.

It will have a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and a 5-megapixel main sensor.

The smartphone also comes with a 32 megapixel selfie camera and a large 4,500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The powerful Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD + display, three 50-megapixel rear cameras, and 120W fast charging support.

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Ultra variation of the 12-series series with an advanced quad-rear camera with a large main sensor and a high zoom vision.

The global launch of the new series from Xiaomi is expected to be in February or March, with the launch of the Indians coming soon.

In related news, Xiaomi is preparing to launch its roll-out second-generation smartphone MIX Fold 2. The folding smartphone will feature an 8-inch LTPO display that offers 2.5K screen resolution.

The device will come powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that will enable most of the leading phones to be launched this year.
