The Poco M4 Pro 5G India was launched on February 15, here is what we can expect

Poco will launch its Poco M4 Pro 5G on February 15 in India. The company has finally confirmed the launch date of the smartphone after the expected weeks.

Going forward, we can expect Poco to reveal more details about the Poco M4 Pro 5G where the launch was built.

Meanwhile, its global launch in November last year and a lot of speculation about the India debut have already marked what you can expect from the phone when it is launched.

Known for its global diversity, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will come as a mid-range smartphone in India with a price tag of less than Rs 20,000 mark.

The phone will come as a redesigned Redmi Note 11 5G, full of 5G support, and is expected to bring similar features to India when it is launched.

India’s launch day for the Poco M4 Pro 5G comes a day after Poco came up with a series of tweets around the device indicating the upcoming launch.

Although the company did not disclose the details of the phone launch in the tweets, it managed to increase curiosity by sharing a few highlights from the device.

The tweets highlighted the number 4 everywhere, while also addressing features such as attractive design, powerful image performance, wide-angle camera and low light, and liquid crystal display.

Expected specification of Poco M4 Pro in India


We know from its global design that the Poco M4 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch FHD + LCD screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate and features a punch-hole camera in the center.

As a mid-range device, the Poco M4 Pro has a MediaTek Dimension 810 chipset and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU chip.

The phone is running a custom MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. Regarding memory options, we may see the option of 6GB and 8GB RAM in the Poco M4 Pro.

Internal storage may start at 64GB and up to 128GB in India. This can also be extended using an external microSD card.

The camera setup on the Poco M4 Pro includes two lenses – a 50-megapixel primary wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The LED flash is also placed next to these. Previously, there was a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Phone communication options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB C port.

With the Poco M4 Pro coming as a mid-range smartphone, we expect it to cost anywhere between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 in India when it is launched.
