The Next-gen MacBook Air, which will look like the MacBook Pro, will come in many colors

More details on the next iteration of MacBook Air has made its way online. Expected to mark debut by mid-2022, the new gen-gen MacBook Air could play a new design based on upcoming MacBook Pro models.

Speculation has been shared by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on a new note.

Koo points out that the MacBook Air will have a form similar to the MacBook Pro models expected to be launched later this year.

That means more square edges than before and a flat design instead of a tapered finish.

Koo’s new details, as seen by 9to5Mac, add to the speculation made by Apple’s notebook so far.

So far, there have been rumors that the 2022 MacBook Air will come with a new Apple Silicon processor and will feature the popular Apple mini-LED screen.

For those unfamiliar with it, the small Apple mini-LED display appeared for the first time at the company’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro launched earlier this year.

Since then, the firm has been rumored to be bringing it to other product lines, including two MacBook Pro models due to launch in the coming months. The advent of the Mini-LED on the MacBook Air will complete this change for the company in a new display form.

Apart from this, Koo also writes in his book that the new MacBook Air will be available with more color options when it is launched.

Although the most important take on Koo’s note is confirmation where there is such a MacBook model.

Kuo reiterates that Apple will launch a new MacBook Air sometime in the middle of 2022.

This means that we may be looking at the launch of April as that of the new iMac program this year, or the announcement at WWDC.

Koo had mentioned similar details earlier on the upcoming MacBook Air’s.

In addition to the timeline for the launch, it has been suggested on the 13.3-inch mini-LED screen for this product. Koo had said that Apple had started working on Apple’s new notebook.

With the launch, Apple is also expecting a high-end launch of its MacBook Air’s portfolio.

Throughout 2022, the company is likely to target the full deployment of 8 million or more MacBook Air’s units, including both future mini-LED models and M1 models released last year.
